Dan Walker forced to change outfit for Loose Women as he thanks them for pointing out blunder

Former BBC Breakfast presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker ended up changing his shirt for a chat show appearance after an outfit blunder was inadvertently pointed out. The 5 News host switched shirts after he almost wore the same one he sported the last time he was on the ITV show Loose Women.

It was only when he clocked a message, welcoming him to Tuesday afternoon's show, with a photo from his previous appearance that he realised his error. They shared a close-up of Dan in a blue denim-style shirt and wrote: "TV host @mrdanwalker joins us live in the studio to tell us about the launch of his new TV show."

Dan openly admitted that he had been going to wear the very same shirt as he shared their message with his 801,800 followers: "See you later… thanks for the picture… I was going to wear that shirt again but I’ll grab another one," he wrote with laughing emojis. And Loose Women also replied with a laughing emoji, adding: "See you soon!"

Dan looked on great form as he appeared on the show following a serious bike crash last month in Sheffield and he updated about his health. He told the Loose Women panel: "I still can't feel part of my lip and I've got a bit of a lump on my hip."

He added that one of his teeth might have to be removed over concerns. "I might have to have this tooth out because they're slightly concerned that I might have lost blood supply," he said.

He added: "I'm really thankful that I haven't brken any bones, I'm still here and I went back on a bike about 10 days ago." Dan discussed his new Channel 5 show Vanished.
