Dajaku miss sums up Black Cats: Sunderland 1-2 MK Dons player ratings
Sunderland slumped to their fourth defeat in five games as they were beaten at home by MK Dons.
The Black Cats have now won just one of their nine games since the turn of the year, and have slipped out of the play-off places.
Alex Neil's first home game in charge turned into a nightmare as his team was booed off.
Mo Eisa put the visitors in front just after half-time, and although Ross Stewart equalised on the hour, former Sunderland striker Conor Wickham came off the bench to score the winner 15 minutes from the end.
Here's how James Hunter rated the Black Cats players
Made three good saves in the first half and could do nothing about the goals
Did OK at right-back
Sunderland were far too open at the back, and it cost them
MK Dons exploited the huge gap between him and Wright
Looks jaded and badly in need of a rest, but Sunderland have no-one to replace him
Generally showed a lot of promise over the 90 minutes, but both goals came from his mistakes when he gave the ball away
No lack of effort, but Sunderland needed more from him than that
Below-par, still in need of a rest, and it was no surprise when he went off
Missed a big chance in the second half, and that summed up his afternoon
Scored the goal and also had other chances. Never gave up
Showed flashes of quality
For Dajaku 56mins. Produced the assist for Stewart's goal
For Neil 56mins. One or two glimpses of his skill when Sunderland were chasing the game
For Evans 78mins.
