Daisy May Cooper set to star in BBC's celebrity series of The Traitors
This Country star Daisy May Cooper is rumoured to be joining the first celebrity series of The Traitors.
The 38-year-old actor is set to participate in the BBC reality show, which pits contestants against each other to discern truth-tellers from secret traitors. Daisy, who also appears on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, has previously showcased her reality TV skills on The Masked Singer, performing as Otter.
She also demonstrated her ability to detect deception during an appearance on Would I Lie To You in 2019, reports The Mirror.

An insider commented: "Daisy is perfect for the Traitors. Obviously her acting talents will help if she has to convince everyone she is not a Traitor, but she's also really likeable and great fun, so she would make a great Faithful as well."
However, Daisy has previously described her training at Rada as "traumatic". "The tutors practised the Stanislavski Method," she said earlier this year, referring to a technique designed to help actors evoke emotions for a role
"Us students were made to talk about our experiences of rape and miscarriage in order to be as 'real' as possible. It was b*******. Acting is just pretending. You can either do it or you can't."
Despite this, she maintains that she is "open and honest", stating: "I just can't be anything other than me. I have no filter at all."
BBC Sport presenter Clare Balding, age 53; Olympic diver Tom Daley, aged 30; and Stephen Fry, who is 67, are among the famous faces rumoured to be joining the upcoming series. Richard Osman, also 53, despite having previously proclaimed himself a "terrible" liar.
He confessed: "You could not find a worse spy. I would have been terrible.
