CWG 2022: ICC pins hopes on women for growth of cricket

"Putting cricket in multi-sport games is good for the growth of the game. It gives a lot of the member countries a seat in the top table of sport organizations within their country. The coverage of these games may not have traditional cricket audiences.

According to Allardice, women's cricket is expected to have a busier calendar. "First time we have had a long-term plan for women's FTP to give broadcasters, sponsors and fans certainty about who is playing whom at what time of the year. "It is structured around the women's championship from 2022-25.
