CSA's action-packed 2022/23 season under way: 'Arguably the biggest summer of cricket we have ever had'

With the start of the CSA T20 Challenge in Potchefstroom on Monday, Cricket South Africa launched their action-packed 2022/23 "summer of cricket".

In the first fixture of the season, the Titans beat the Dolphins by 34-runs with batting prodigy Dewald Brevis leading the way with fine innings of 57 off 44 balls.

On the international front, although the Proteas travel to Australia over the Christmas and New Year period, home series' await against England, West Indies and the Netherlands.

The Proteas Women will also participate in a home T20 tri-series before the Women's T20 World Cup hits South African shores.

"It is another bumper season on the international front. The Proteas will welcome England, West Indies, and the Netherlands, whilst the Proteas Women will take on India and the West Indies in a T20 International (T20I) Tri-series at home in preparation for the home T20 World Cup," said Nkwe.

"It is time for South Africans to come together in empowering and supporting women
