Conor Gallagher has been a revelation at Crystal Palace this season, scoring eight Premier League goals and setting up three more in 24 appearances.

However, the 22-year-old is likely to return to Chelsea after his loan spell finishes, and it’s improbable that they will be willing to do much business after being placed under a number of sanctions due to owner Roman Abramovich’s ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

This would likely force Patrick Vieira into the transfer market this summer to replace Gallagher with someone who can score and set up goals from deep. With Palace often looking to the Championship to buy young talent in recent years like Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, it’s fair to say that Morgan Gibbs-White fits the criteria.

A report from TEAMtalk has claimed that Leeds, Palace and Fulham are set to battle for Gibbs-White’s signature, should his parent club Wolves be willing to sell.

The midfielder has had an excellent season on loan at Championship side Sheffield United with 15 goal contributions in 24 appearances as the Yorkshire club continue to battle for a play-off place at the end of the season.

However, it seems that the 22-year-old’s future may well lie in the Premier League, and having not been given too many chances at Wolves in recent years, there seems a distinct possibility that the Midlands club would be open to negotiating a permanent transfer for the £8.1m-rated ace.
