Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez admits adapting to life with him was hard

Georgina Rodriguez has admitted it was hard adapting to life after meeting Manchester United icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

The couple have been together since 2016, with the Spanish model giving birth to their daughter Alana Martina in November 2017. They are currently expecting twins.

Ronaldo is arguably the most famous athlete on the planet, boasting 395 million followers on Instagram - making him the most followed individual on the social media platform.

Their relationship has led to Georgina achieving global fame, as she now has nearly 30 million followers of her own on Instagram.

Her Netflix reality TV show - "I am Georgina" - is released on Thursday.

"I went from selling luxury items to wearing them on the red carpet," said Georgina, as quoted by the Latin Times. "I have millions of followers and I’m the woman of the most-followed man in the world.

"The first time I went to Cristiano’s house, I’d get lost every time I went to the kitchen. It would take me half an hour to get back because I didn’t know the way.

"Sometimes it would take me half an hour to get back from the living room because I didn’t know the way. It was so big. Since I was a kid, I’d been used to living in small apartments."

According to Forbes, Ronaldo is the first professional footballer to earn more than $1billion during his illustrious career.

As well as current side United, the Portugal captain has represented Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Juventus.
