Cristiano Ronaldo responds to Lionel Messi heckle during Al-Nassr match

Cristiano Ronaldo showed his frustrations during Al-Nassr's match against Al-Batin on Friday, reacting to one supporter who appeared to be a Lionel Messi fan.

Al-Nassr are leading the Saudi Pro League, but were nearly shocked against Al-Batin. Renzo Lopez opened the scoring for the team who have undergone an awful season and sit bottom of the table, ten points adrift of their nearest rivals after just one win all campaign.

It was this goal which was enough to see the visiting side into the interval in the lead, which is when the interaction took place. Former Manchester United forward Ronaldo, fresh from winning the Saudi February Player of the Month Award, was targeted by the heckler, who said: "Messi is so much better than you!"

Messi had won the FIFA Best award last week in the build-up to the match and Ronaldo losing to a side bottom of the Saudi Pro League will have been another blow to the 38-year-old. However, Ronaldo was not fazed by the interaction and replied, "It's an easy match! It's an easy match!"

With Al-Nassr losing at that stage, it did not appear so easy, but goals from Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohammed Al-Fatil and Mohammed Maran saw the favourites and league leaders across the line for a 3-1 win to make one step closer to the Saudi Pro league title.

After the match, Ronaldo posted to Instagram, with the caption: "Always believe until the end! Vamos!". This was in reference to the win which leaves the side two points clear of Al-Hilal at the top of the table.
