Cristiano Ronaldo moment caught on camera shows his Manchester United dressing room impact

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted motivating his teammates after Manchester United conceded against Arsenal on Sunday.

United defeated Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League at the weekend thanks to goals from Antony and Marcus Rashford, but Mikel Arteta's side did manage to equalise during the fixture when Bukayo Saka levelled the score in the 60th minute.

Ronaldo did not start the match but he was brought on for Antony just moments before Saka scored against David de Gea. Although Erik ten Hag has started Ronaldo in just one match — the 4-0 defeat to Brentford — this season, he remains a key figure in the dressing room.

That has been proved after footage of Ronaldo emerged on social media this week, which showed the forward's reaction to Arsenal equalising on Sunday. United's players look dejected after conceding but Ronaldo is seen motivating his teammates.

In the footage, Ronaldo approaches Bruno Fernandes before talking to Christian Eriksen and gesturing to Tyrell Malacia.

Ronaldo is seen clapping his teammates to get a reaction to conceding Saka's goal and he appears to shout "come on."

United restored their one-goal advantage just six minutes after Arsenal equalised when Rashford scored his first of the match. The England forward then added another to seal the 3-1 victory.

Sunday's result meant United now won four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since April 2021.
