Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd looking into claims he smashed Everton fan's phone

It was an incredibly frustrating afternoon for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United against Everton on Saturday.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to the relegation-threatened side in what was a dismal overall performance.

It left their hopes of finishing in the top-four this season in tatters.

Ronaldo played the entire 90 minutes but had very little impact in the defeat.

He was booked late on for kicking a stray ball towards the dugouts in anger.

As the final whistle went, Ronaldo could be seen limping off the pitch was some nasty stud marks on his shin.

But as he and his United teammates went into the far corner of Goodison Park to the away changing rooms, he was involved in an incident with an Everton fan.

Videos have been circulating on social media that claim to show Ronaldo ‘smashed the phone’ of an Everton fan. The video is unclear and, while you can hear and see something hit the floor, it’s impossible to tell what it is.
