Creepy Netflix docu-series has viewers so scared they're complaining they can't sleep

Netflix is no stranger to terrifying true crime documentaries. And its latest offering has viewers so shaken up, they're struggling to sleep.

I Am A Stalker first gripped America when it landed on the streamer in 2022. Having now joined the UK catalogue, Brits are quickly discovering just how chilling the eight-part documentary really is.

It sees convicted stalkers talk candidly about their crimes in a series of exclusive face-to-face interviews. Some of the brave survivors also come forward with their stories, while the families of those who were brutally murdered also speak out.

The series covers a variety of stalking cases, from disgruntled exes and co-workers infatuated with their colleagues, to virtual strangers. It became a top-watched show on Netflix in the US and is currently sitting at number two on Netflix UK's most-watched charts.

It originally aired in the UK on the Crime + Investigation channel. But now it has picked up even more velocity on Netflix, viewers have began sharing their thoughts online.

Viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to after watching the series. @ashlou343 tweeted: "Just finished watching I Am A Stalker on Netflix. Really eye opening but in a way that I won’t be sleeping tonight."

@patrickCwright warned: "If you want to sleep comfortably tonight, don't watch the @netflix series I am a Stalker" as @lizmoot added: "I am a Stalker on Netflix is super scary, these people have no idea they are doing anything wrong".
