Crazy Pedro's offering free drinks from 5pm to toast the glorious Manchester weather

After a wet few weeks in Manchester the sun is finally shining and at 5pm TODAY, one city centre restaurant is giving everyone that Friday feeling with a free drink. Those heading into the city can pop into Crazy Pedro's for a gin in a tin on the house.

The pizza parlour has partnered with Hartwall Original Long Drink to help keep you cool in these rising temperatures, so those heading out for after-work drinks will be able to celebrate the long awaited arrival of summer with a cheeky tipple.

The spontaneous offer will see the people of Manchester toast to the weekend at the Bridge Street branch, soaking up the sun on their terrace - with no strings attached.

Crazy Pedros will be open until 4am, with the free gin tins flowing from 5pm until stocks run out. Customers can claim one tin per person and enjoy it even more for not costing a penny.

You’ll probably recognise Hartwall Original Long Drink by their infamous stripy cans - great for the ‘gram. The cocktail is made of Finnish artisan gin and was originally made for the Helsinki Olympics way back when, in 1952. The OG flavour is gin and grapefruit soda but there’s also orange, lemon or cranberry to choose from.

And if you are feeling peckish, Crazy Pedro's also has their food menu on offer, including pizzas for less than a tenner - perfect for sharing, too.
