Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien told 'stop it' as she stuns fans before branding co-star 'best sister-in-law

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has been told to 'stop it' as she stunned her castmates, fans and followers with her latest appearance. The actress pulled out all the stops as she headed to the National Television Awards to represent the ITV soap on the night with a number of her co-stars.

Tina, who plays Sarah Barlow on the cobbles, swapped Manchester for London for the star-studded event which took place at the O2 Arena alongside the likes of Jane Danson, Sally Carman-Duttine, Andy Whyment, Daniel Brocklebank, Peter Ash, Charlotte Jordan and Channique Sterling-Brown.

Corrie was up for a handful of gongs at the biggest night in the TV calendar of the year, with both Charlotte (Daisy Midgeley) and Dame Maureen Lipman (Evelyn Plummer) shortlisted in the 'Drama Performance' category, Channique (Dee-Dee Bailey) up for the 'Rising Star' gong and the soap itself going for 'Serial Drama'.

But it wasn't to be on the night and the stars didn't get to bring a piece of silverware back up to Salford with them. However, it didn't dampen anyone's spirits as they have since been talking to social media to share a look at their night at the event from their perspective.

Taking to Instagram, Tina shared some snaps of herself all glammed-up with her hair and makeup done before slipping into her gorgeous gown for the evening. "Gorgeous night at the NTA’s with @coronationstreet," the soap star said as she showed off her classic updo and a bronzed glow.

"Huge thanks to Selina, I’m so lucky to have you as a friend. Thanks for helping me feel so special wearing your stunning jewellery @murrayandme_jewellery."

She then shared a follow-up post
