Coronation Street first look as Ryan Connor sees the scars of the acid attack for the first time

Coronation Street has shared the images of the moment Ryan Connor sees his scars for the first time. The DJ was caught up in a horrific attack in shocking scenes which aired in the ITV soap last month.

Ryan, played by Ryan Prescott, stepped in to help Daisy Mideley when her stalker arrived at the pub on her wedding day. Justin Rutherford returned to the cobbles in order to unleash a horrific acid attack on the bride-to-be.

The barmaid's stalker was lurking in the shadows at the Rovers Return as she and Ryan Connor, who was drafted in as chauffeur as well as DJ, locked up the pub. After suggesting things were too perfect for her, Justin hurled acid in Daisy's direction, but Ryan jumped in front of her and was left writhing and screaming as the substance burned through his face and arm.

Viewers have since seen Ryan struggling to accept what has happened to him and this was only worsened when he heard Justin pleaded not guilty at his plea hearing meaning a trial lies ahead. The news also led to him declaring his love for ex-girlfriend Alya Nazir, only for her not to return the feelings.

After being left crushed by Alya, Daisy headed to the hospital to see Ryan and she arranged for his club promoter friend Crystal to pay him a visit too to boost his confidence. Daisy, who was set to marry Daniel Osbourne when she was targeted by Justin, was later upset to be told by Crystal that she had no intention of seeing through her offer to him of him joining her in Ibiza to work as a DJ.

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Ryan was telling his consultant in the hospital that he was ready to remove his bandages and see his scars for the first time while also sharing
