Coronation Street fans work out Sabrina's friend's identity and she's Joel's 'next victim'

Coronation Street fans are certain they have worked out the identity of Sabrina Adetiba's friend who they also think may be Joel Deering's 'next victim'. As fans of the ITV soap know, but the residents of Weatherfield do not, the solicitor is behind the disappearance of Lauren Bolton.

It was revealed in flashback scenes aired last month that Roy Cropper, as everyone already knew, was innocent after he was charged with the suspected murder of the missing teen and that it was really Joel who was her 'secret boyfriend' and had something to do with her sudden disappearance.

With Bethany Platt's groomer Nathan Curtis now in the frame after new police officer Kit Green, who is also Bernie Winter's long-lost son, planted evidence to get one up on DS Lisa Swain, Joel is able to carry on as normal and is currently preparing to tie the knot with fiancee Dee-Dee Bailey.

But fans think that he has found his next victim having come to the rescue of Max Turner's on-off girlfriend Sabrina in a state of distress outside the police station and learnt that her brother had been arrested. Quick to offer his help, Joel handed her his business card and told her to give him a call.

During Monday night's (June 24) episode of Corrie, Joel conveniently bumped into Sabrina in the precinct, where they both had a coffee. Joel then tempted Sabrina with alcohol as he poured some into her coffee and pretended to pour some into his cup but he didn't.
