Cornerstone Christian University confers doctorate degree on Drew Uyi

In a milestone feat that has attracted informed commentaries , top brand expert and English FA licensed football agent, Drew Uyi, has has been conferred with an honourary doctorate degree from Cornerstone Christian University in the United States of America.

At the landmark event that took place on October 29 at the Double Tree by Hilton, Atlanta 1076 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell 30076, Uyi, who midwifed some top endorsement deals for a number of leading sports stars and entertainers, was finally awarded the doctoral degree Honoris Causa to a round of applauses from the event’s attendees.

In conferring the post graduate degree on the UK-born Nigerian, Cornerstone Christian University identified that Uyi has touched the lives of people and contributed in a no small measure to the sports and branding sectors.

Uyi was instrumental in the activation of endorsement deals for the likes of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, Victor Moses, Shehu Abdullahi, and Odion Ighalo.

A sports and events management graduate from the London Metropolitan University, Uyi holds a post-graduate diploma in marketing from the London University of Arts and with this doctorate degree he takes the game a notch higher.

In his acceptance speech after being awarded the new degree, Uyi said: “When I set out to be a brand expert and FA licensed football intermediary, I never envisaged that my humble ambition would propel me to being found deserving and worthy to be conferred with a honorary doctorate degree from Cornerstone Christian University, a reputable ivory tower of high academic, moral and spiritual excellence.
