Cops investigating park rampage charge boy, 16, with crimes including sex assault and kidnap
A boy of 16 has been charged with a series of crimes including sex assault and kidnap following a series of incidents in Queen's Park in Bolton at 6am on Friday.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted robbery, attempted rape, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, kidnap, assault, and stalking, Greater Manchester Police confirmed today. He was due to appear Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today.
Among those alleged to have been targeted is a man in his 50s and two women who were taking an early morning jog.

Despite the charges, police say they are continuing their investigation and are appealing for anyone with any information, or who may have seen some suspicious actions or items in the area, to come forward. This includes anyone who may have possession of CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage.
Detective Sergeant Carla Deighton said: “While we have secured a charge, we are continuing to appeal for information. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed anything yesterday to please get in touch with us.
