Conor McGregor vs Kamaru Usman could be a major fight for the UFC Welterweight Title, and here’s everything we know so far about the potential bout.

Despite the fact that he has had a less than stellar fight record in the past few years, there is no arguing that McGregor is still one of the biggest draws in the history of combat sports.

The potential box office for McGregor vs Usman could be massive for the UFC, and it’s not out of the realms of possibility for the fight to happen.

Here’s everything that we currently know about Conor McGregor vs Kamaru Usman and when the fight might potentially take place.

We’ve seen McGregor put on some mass over the past few months, but recently he has been trimming back down.

Recently speaking to The Mac Life, McGregor revealed that he wants to return to the UFC in the Welterweight division and get a shot at the 170-pound Champion Usman.

He said: “I believe versus Usman for the 170-pound title for my comeback is the one I’m eyeballing at the minute. And I feel confident against Usman. A jab happy, sloppy, orthodox wrestler with no submissions whatsoever. What’s he gonna do? Where’s the danger here? I don’t see a danger with him.”

Although many would scoff at the idea of McGregor not only getting a title shot but a title shot in a different weight division, UFC President Dana White has not outright shot down the idea.

Speaking himself to The Mac Life ahead of UFC London, White said: “Yeah, it’s interesting, I hadn’t heard that. He’s coming into Vegas, we’re getting together and we’re gonna talk. We’ll see what’s next… Any Conor fight is good money-wise.”

Usman himself reacted to the call out
