Conor McGregor sends Paulie Malignaggi brutal sparring reminder as feud reignites

Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi renew their public spat as they trade verbal blows on Twitter.

It was back in 2017, when McGregor invited Malignaggi, former world champion boxer, into his ranks to help him prepare for his boxing debut and super fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The former WBA Welterweight Champion was a slippery contender and boasted an impressive pro-record of 36-8 in the ring, making him the perfect prep for ‘Mr. Money’ himself.

However, his time in the McGregor camp didn’t last long. A heated sparring session resulted in the Irishman flooring the Brooklyn-born boxer in a video that was later uploaded to social media.

‘Magic Man’ Malignaggi has always denied he was dropped and claimed McGregor manipulated the video, before storming out of the camp in spectacular fashion.

The incident might have been a few years ago, but it seems Malignaggi is yet to cool down, who again looked to antagonize McGregor on Twitter.

In response to a tweet by Jake Paul, the former boxer wrote:

“I agree with Jake Paul. Conor is light work.”

He then continued, responding to a post from a fan: “He ain’t s**t.”

This caught the eye of the Notorious, who wasted no time in swooping in with a hilarious response…

“I left you like a little seesaw.”

Which included a picture of Malignaggi sprawled on the floor with McGregor standing over him.

The American has repeatedly called out the UFC superstar over the years, most recently in an interview with SiriusXM Boxing.

“I mean, I wouldn’t put it past anything, but I don’t think Conor McGregor is ever going to want to fight me,” Malignaggi said in the interview.

“The only way that I’d fight Conor McGregor is if it’s winner-takes-all at this point.
