Conor McGregor responds to steroids accusation during UFC absence

Conor McGregor is never very far from controversy, even when he has been out of the Octagon for over a year.

And his recent social media posts are no different, with the Irishman being accused of taking steroids to achieve his current bulked-up physique.

However, McGregor was quick to rebuttal the accusations, as you could imagine given how damaging they could be on his reputation, after a fan asked him on Twitter what it was he has been taking.

A recent video posted to his Instagram shows the UFC star flexing and grunting as he shows off his incredible physique to the camera.

While McGregor received a plethora of positive messages complimenting his physique, there were many comments questioning potential steroid use by the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion.

The accusations have come with the news that McGregor reportedly has not been tested by United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) for nearly a whole year, despite still being an active fighter on the UFC roster.

However, when a user on Twitter asked McGregor: “What are you using? I want some of that,” he responded in typical fashion to silence accusations.

McGregor replied to the tweet: “Proper Twelve and Forged Irish Stout. Served alongside my own, organically grown, Irish beef, served on a hot stone. Tidl spray for pain.”

Never shy of a bit of self promotion, McGregor’s recipe for getting stacked seems a very traditional one, and one that does not apparently involve any performance enhancing drugs.
