Conor McGregor Hits Out At Tyson Fury After Boxer's Support Of Khabib Nurmagomedov

It's been three and a half years since Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov, and well over a year since the Russian retired, but McGregor still can't let their rivalry go.

After Khabib's tapped out the Irishman things didn't get any less ugly, as the Russian jumped over the cage to attack a member of his rival's team and members of his team attacked McGregor.

Whilst it ended the rivalry in the cage, and Nurmagomedov's retirement in 2020 stopped any chance of a rematch, McGregor hasn't stopped taking swipes at his former opponent.

Unhappy with seeing his rivalry get any sort of praise whatsoever, McGregor has now replied to the Englishman, taking shots at him over a random incident involving Billy Joe Saunders.

Fury was also in the crowd that night, to support his friend, but is said to have not got involved to help his mate's dad during the incident.

Of course in McGregor's mind that's something to mock the world heavyweight champion about, whilst also bringing up his backing for Joe Joyce, another British heavyweight boxer.

McGregor hasn't been in the octagon since last summer, when he lost for the second time in-a-row against Dustin Poirier, and has been recovering from a broken leg.

He is expected to return in the summer and he recently claimed he was going to give up drinking in order to focus on getting back into fighting form.
