Conor McGregor Heavily Criticised For Filming Butler Fetching Him Bottle Of Water

The former UFC champion is currently recovering from the broken leg he sustained during his bout against Dustin Poirier and appeared to be staying at a fancy hotel in the clip he recently shared.

The video - somewhat bizarrely - starts off with McGregor sniffing the vapour from what appears to be an essential oil diffuser.

A man who looks to be a butler, wearing a beige uniform and mask, appears alongside him with a tray carrying a container of pills.

After popping the pills into his mouth, McGregor asks the fella to get him a bottle of water, which he does.

McGregor then knocks back some water and holds the bottle in the air until the man reappears and takes it away.

Responding to the clip on Twitter, one wrote: “Imagine being on the dole to becoming insanely rich and STILL treating someone like that? Even worse to then put it online like it’s a brag? C’mon man, reel it in."

Another said: "A butler? Why? All the money in the world but I would never have one."

A third person replied: “Wtf is this? No worse trait than forgetting where you’re from.”

While someone else commented: “You can’t buy class, pathetic that.”

But not everyone thought McGregor was wrong, as one bloke said: “He's a butler, that's what butler do they clean for you, give you things you ask for... And I'd say that butler makes crazy money! I'd say he makes more than you will your whole life.”

And another commented: “I don't understand why people are so sensitive nowadays. The champ said a big, ‘Thank you’ to the butler. I don't see any issue here.”

Last month, McGregor’s fans were left baffled after he uploaded a clip of himself - seemingly drunk - eating ice cream in bed.

McGregor shared a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram last month.
