Connor Chapman has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Elle Edwards
Elle, 26, was shot and killed outside the Lighthouse pub in Wirral on Christmas Eve 2022. Detectives previously said that they believed she was not the intended target of the shooting which left four men injured.
Chapman, of Houghton Road, Woodchurch, was charged with murder in January this year.

Chapman appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from HMP Manchester. Alongside the murder of Elle, he also pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder Jake Duffy and Kieran Salkeld, and also denies wounding with intent against Harry Loughran, Jake Speed, and Liam Carr.
Chapman also denies handling stolen goods, relating to a Mercedes A-Class. A provisional trial date has been scheduled for June 12 this year.
