Connor Barron rewarded for Aberdeen rise as Scotland U-21 squad announced for Euro qualifiers
Aberdeen rising star Connor Barron has been named in Scotland's U-21 squad for the first time.
Manager Scot Gemmill has revealed the 22 players who will take on Turkey and Kazakhstan in a European Championship qualifying double header later in March.
Barron, 19, has received a first call-up to the U-21 setup after breaking into the Dons first team with a string of impressive displays.
The midfielder has previously represented his country up to U-17 level.
He'll join Pittodrie team-mate Calvin Ramsay but there's still no return for Bologna defender Aaron Hickey.
