Concern grows as desperate search continues for missing 16-year-old

A desperate search is continuing as officers try and track down a missing 16-year-old.

Teenager Evelyn Anderson was last seen at around 6.45pm last Sunday, April 21, Cheshire Police said. She was last spotted in the Warrington Road area, near Culcheth in Warrington.

Evelyn, from Warrington, is believed to have links to Greater Manchester. She also links to North Wales and Merseyside.

In an update issued this morning (April 25), a spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed Evelyn is still missing. A search is ongoing to try and trace her.

The force previously said officers were becoming 'increasingly concerned' for her welfare'. The 16-year-old is described as white and around 5ft 4in tall.

She has short, black hair with red tints. She is also believed to be in possession of a long dark-haired wig which she may wear.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, and black and white Jordan trainers with an orange tick. Anyone with information is being urged to contact Cheshire Police immediately.

PC Meg Aspinall said previously: "Officers have been searching for Evelyn for a number of days and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare. I would urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen her since she went missing to get in touch.

"The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of her since she disappeared as this may help us find her. I would also appeal directly to Evelyn to contact us to let us know that you are safe and well.”
