Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Spurs should be keen on signing Raphinha but that he might be out of their reach in terms of budget.
The Brazilian has been linked to several Premier League clubs, after he has been a star performer for Leeds this season, being their top scorer with nine goals in 27 Premier League games.
The winger reportedly has a release clause in his contract of £70 million, which could put a lot of clubs off signing him, as he has been somewhat out of form in recent weeks, failing to score in Leeds’ last five Premier League games.
Whilst talking to GIVEMESPORT, Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Raphinha should be on Spurs’ radar but his price tag may be off-putting for them.
“I think he’s the type of player that Spurs need to be looking at if they are to close the gap on the top sides across Europe. So yeah, I think it’d be a good one, but I think he just might be out of Tottenham’s reach right now,” O’Rourke said.

Spurs have been somewhat reliant on Son and Kane for goals in recent years, and when the latter was out of form in the early stages of the season, they lacked goals which led to a poor vein of form. So, bringing in another proven goalscorer and creator will certainly take the pressure off the current front two.
