College softball: NCAA tournament scores, WCWS schedule, watch - ESPN
The 2023 Women's College World Series field is filling out, and No. 1 Oklahoma will be there to defend its past two college softball championships.
Trailing No. 16 seed Clemson 7-4 and down to her final strike, Kinzie Hansen hit a game-tying three-run home run in the seventh inning to knot the score at 7. In the top of the ninth, Tiare Jennings hit the go-ahead solo home run as the Sooners extended their winning streak to 48 games, longest in Division I softball history.
No. 3 Florida State and No. 6 Oklahoma State became the first two teams to clinch berths in Oklahoma City by sweeping their super regionals on Friday. No. 9 Stanford, No. 4 Tennessee and No. 7 Washington joined them on Saturday.
Two spots will have to wait until Sunday, as No. 5 Alabama and No. 15 Utah staved off elimination. They will face off against No. 12 Northwestern and unseeded San Diego State, respectively, with trips to Oklahoma City at stake.
