College softball 2026: NCAA tournament scores, schedule, how to watch - ESPN
The NCAA softball tournament has reached the super regional round, with 13 of the top 16 seeds advancing from last week's regionals. The winner of each best-of-three super regional series will compete in the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City beginning May 28.
Super regionals began Thursday with two games: Georgia at Tennessee and Oklahoma State at Nebraska.
Tennessee pitcher Karlyn Pickens struck out 10 Georgia batters in the first meeting of the year between SEC rivals. It was Pickens' sixth career NCAA tournament game in which she struck out at least 10.
Nebraska and Oklahoma State were meeting for the third time this season, but got off to a stunted start thanks to a weather delay. The game will resume at 5 p.m. ET on Friday.
The rest of the field is in action on Friday. Will top overall seed Alabama cruise to the finish? Or will second seed Texas defend its title? Maybe NiJaree Canady and Texas Tech will finish the job after getting so close last season. Or maybe Oklahoma will win its fifth title in six years.
