Club wrap: Aidan O'Shea's Breaffy edge out Lee Keegan's Westport

In the Mayo SFC, Aidan O'Shea and Lee Keegan did battle for a place in the semi-finals with O'Shea's Breaffy outlasting Keegan's Westport by a point, 1-10 to 0-12, in a tight affair.

Mayo star O'Shea was named Man of the Match while his long-time county team-mate Keegan was left to rue some wasteful shooting from his own team as Westport missed out by an odd score.

Ballina Stephenites also edged their quarter-final by a point, holding off Castlebar Mitchels 0-08 to 0-07 in a drab game.

Ballina will play Ballaghaderreen and Breaffy meet Knockmore in the semi-finals next Sunday in a double header at MacHale Park.

In the Kildare SFC, Sarsfields held off Moorefield in the Newbridge derby, 1-09 to 0-11, to progress from their quarter-final. Reigning county champions Naas had a resounding 3-19 to 0-07 win over Johnstownbridge in their own quarter-final.

Reigning champions Na Fianna are into the Dublin SHC semi-finals after a comprehensive win over Ballyboden St Enda's.

Na Fianna beat the southside outfit 4-26 to 2-14 at Parnell Park and will now meet St Vincent’s in the final four.

Managed by new Dublin manager Niall Ó Ceallacháin, The Glasnevin side led by just a point in difficult conditions at half-time but turned on the style after the break to run out comfortable winners.

Lucan Sarsfields also prevailed in their quarter-final at the same venue with a 0-25 to 2-13 win over Whitehall Colmcille. They now face Kilmacud Crokes in the semi-finals.

Whitehall had led 1-07 to 0-06 at half time, but it was all Sarsfields in the second half.

The Tipperary SHC final will be fought out between Loughmore-Castleiney and Toomevara. The former beat Thurles Sarsfields on a scoreline of 0-17 to 2-09 in the second semi-final on Sunday after Toomevara
