Christian Eriksen names the biggest improvement Manchester United must make

Christian Eriksen was pleased Manchester United defeated Wolves 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, although he's admitted the team must reproduce their Old Trafford form away from home in order to improve again next season.

United have secured some brilliant results at home this term and this weekend's comfortable victory against Wolves was their 13th win in front of a home crowd, meaning 42 of their 66 points this season have been earned at Old Trafford.

Although Eriksen is proud of that record and the team's performances at home, he believes that if Erik ten Hag's side want to take another step forward next season, they must start producing those levels when on the road.

Eriksen started against Wolves on Saturday and after the game, he reflected on the display and discussed United's form.

"It was a must-win. After two losses, we don't like losing and we haven't done it that many times," Eriksen told MUTV. "We have a few times, but we have always bounced back and we've done it again.

"We need to finish the season strong and as you've said, we have a perfect home record. But in the end, for next season, we need to be as good at home again, but also away from home, then it will be a fun season.

"We know that's where we can pick up extra points because at home at the moment, we're feeling very secure. When you lose two games, the pressure is on but we have shown the character and quality to be where we are.

"So yeah, we're just going to focus on ourselves and we have to get three wins from the last three games [for top four]."
