Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn: The Destroyer looks shredded despite fight concerns

Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr are gearing up for a revival of the famous boxing rivalry from the 90s where there fathers went toe-to-toe in a brutal rivalry.

Chris Eubank Sr got the better of Nigel Benn in their opening fight thanks to a tactical knockout in the ninth round, with their rematch much closer.

A split draw was the outcome, meaning Benn was unable to get the better of his fierce rival in the ring, something his son is desperate to do.

Eubank Sr is an exuberant character to say the least, and it was confirmed that he will be returning to our screens in his son’s corner, surely we’ll get some form of entertainment from him!

He’s been on Celebrity Gogglebox with his son, providing plenty of golden moments such as the iconic “would you like a sweetie? These are Smarties, indeed.”

Chris Eubank Sr stated: “His life cannot be put in danger… I’ve already lost one son. I can’t lose another.”

He continued: “If they’re not going to listen to me, then they’ll have to listen to my King’s Counsel. That fight does not happen.

“If he doesn’t take the advice then I have to put my foot down… Have you ever heard of Russian Roulette> When you spin that barrel, that’s what he’s doing and that I can’t let him.

“I’ve given him my direction. If he doesn’t want to follow it he will be dragged along. But he will do what is right for him… He is coming down 1oz below 160lbs which cannot happen on my watch.

“This modern day ‘gladiating,’ this is not a play thing for the audience. We have to be strict otherwise lives are put in danger and my son’s life cannot be put in danger.

“I’ve already lost
