Chocobo GP Seasons: What Are They?

Chocobo GP is set to be released on Thursday 10th March 2022 on Nintendo Switch, but what are the Seasons that will be part of the new game?

The new karting game from Square Enix will have a number of elements akin to Mario Kart titles, but the Seasons element is more along the lines of a gacha or battle royale title.

Square Enix has already confirmed some of the elements of the Seasons that will be part of the new game, including some of the extras you can get with the full version of the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Seasons in Chocobo GP and how they will work on the new Nintendo Switch game.

The official Final Fantasy Twitter account confirmed the following with regards to how the Seasons will work back in February 2022:

“Season events are held every few months in #ChocoboGP! Play in Chocobo GP mode to increase your season level and obtain special season rewards, like items and Gil which can be exchanged for various other items in the games different shops depending on your season level.”

The official Square Enix website confirmed the following with regards to the characters that will be available with Season 1 of the game:

“Cloud Strife joins the race as a Prize Pass-exclusive reward. As a Season One login bonus, all players* can obtain 800 mythril (equivalent to a Prize Pass) for a limited time**, allowing them to obtain Cloud as a level reward of the first Prize Pass.

“Squall Leonhart will appear in the line-up at the Gil shop, so all players with the full game can get him while he’s available!
