Chelsea transfers: Maguire, Fofana, Aubameyang included in potential XI for 22/23 season

Chelsea certainly haven’t been shy about splashing the cash this summer following the arrival of new chairman Todd Boehly.

Per Transfermarkt, the American businessman has already shelled out more than £181 million on new faces, including Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Blues have been chasing Leicester’s Wesley Fofana throughout the window and a deal now seems increasingly likely after the Frenchman was left out of Leicester’s squad for their home defeat to Southampton on Saturday.

On the assumption that the move goes through, the 21-year-old gets the nod in one of the centre-back berths.
