Chelsea transfer priority revealed as Arsenal and Tottenham battle for £65m star

The transfer window has been open just over two weeks but Arsenal and Tottenham have wasted no time in getting new signings through the door. The Gunners have already welcomed Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira to the Emirates Stadium, while a deal for goalkeeper Matt Turner has already been agreed and just needs to be announced.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma in what has been an impressive start to the window for Fabio Paratici. It's expected the incomings won't stop there, too, with the Lilywhites linked to a host of names including Djed Spence, Jonathan Clauss and Richarlison.

In west London, Chelsea are yet to make any signings but plenty has been happening behind the scenes as new owner Todd Boehly tries to give manager Thomas Tuchel the players needed to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City next season. While Romelu Lukaku looks likely to return to Inter Milan, Jules Kounde could join from Sevilla, while the club continues to be linked with a big-money move for Declan Rice.

Tottenham leave Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal trailing but calm required in transfer market

All three of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea will be hoping more business gets done between now and the end of the window, and fans may not have to wait long for further signings, if reports are to be believed. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Raphinha is a target for all three clubs, while Raheem Sterling remains a 'priority' for Chelsea.

Romano said in an update posted on Twitter: "Arsenal and Tottenham are both still working on Raphinha. Barcelona, no fresh bid as of now.
