Chelsea have received encouraging news in the club's bid to keep manager Thomas Tuchel at the club.

The German has emerged as a managerial target for Premier League rivals Manchester United following the troubles currently engulfing the Stamford Bridge club. Ex-Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has reported suffering racist abuse during AC Milan's 1-0 win over Cagliari.

The alleged incident took place after the final whistle was blown on Saturday with Tomori and goalkeeper Mike Maignan reporting that they were abused by fans. The player shared an anti-racism message on Twitter following the game as his club said there is "still a long road ahead and we must keep on fighting together".
