Chelsea must use Barcelona concern to sign Thomas Tuchel's perfect Romelu Lukaku replacement
In an ideal world, Chelsea would have signed Erling Haaland, not Man City. The Blues would have also predicted it would not work so well with Romelu Lukaku returning to Stamford Bridge and the bad blood between both parties would not exist. Unfortunately, we do not live in such a world, so we continuously have to pay for our past mistakes.
Lukaku is close to making a return to Inter Milan with Chelsea and the Serie A side in contact over a loan. And while they conclude the perfect deal to please both parties, Thomas Tuchel is keen on moving forward in the transfer window. Quite frankly, I think every Chelsea fan probably feels the same way.
With Lukaku out of the picture, Chelsea need to dig deep to replace him with a reliable goal scorer and it doesn't get more reliable than Robert Lewandowski. The Bayern Munich striker is eager to leave this summer and venture on a new journey. He reportedly prefers a move to Barcelona but Tuchel has not given up yet.
