Chelsea academy is facing meltdown with Premier League clubs poised to pinch their highly-talented young stars.
Agents of players in the Under-16 age group have been fielding calls from rivals clubs looking to lure them away.
It comes with anxious parents still waiting for clarification on the current crisis from the club after the UK government froze the assets of Roman Abramovich on Thursday morning.
Some parents are actively considering their options because they are even worried that highly-regarded academy overlords, Neil Bath and Jim Fraser, could be poached themselves.
Earlier this season, Chelsea ’s highly-talented youngsters lifted the Under-16 Premier League Nationals Cup, beating Manchester United, Manchester City and Everton along the way.
There are high hopes for that crop of players to whom exciting young star Leo Cardozo was added earlier this month.
Flanked by legends John Terry and Petr Cech, Cardozo was pictured on the club website holding a Chelsea shirt with a no.10 on the back.
But with the Blues unable to offer contracts to players or staff, a rival
