Chelsea take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final tomorrow afternoon in the hope of adding more silverware to their trophy cabinet.
The Blues go into Sunday's clash with significant confidence, following the club's 2-0 victory in the Champions League round of 16, first leg tie against Lille.
Both Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic added their names on the scoresheet, ensuring that the west Londoners now have a healthy lead going into the return fixture next month.
Ahead of the clash, manager Thomas Tuchel has hit back at comments stating that his side are simply a 'cup team'.
The major success the west Londoners have had under the German's stewardship has come outside of the Premier League, winning the Champions League and most recently the FIFA Club World Cup.
But Tuchel has argued that Chelsea's league performances have been far from poor, stating that the club are not 'underperforming' in this regard.
"Are we in the beginning of a process to translate this into a league campaign? Yes, we are but still it’s not like we are underperforming regarding where we came from a year ago," he said.
"We should also allow ourselves to not be too negative about being third place [in the league] at the moment and playing all these different competitions at the same time.
