Charlton's Ryan Inniss sent off for shocking tackle vs AFC Wimbledon

Charlton’s Ryan Inniss was sent off against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night for one of the worst tackles you’re ever likely to see.

Inniss has been injured for large parts of this season but came off the bench at Plough Lane in the 49th-minute with the scores still at 0-0.

But the defender lasted just seven minutes before he was sent off for an awful tackle on George Marsh.

Inniss had possession in defence and looked to bring the ball out. However, he took a horribly heavy touch and looked to make amends with a lunging tackle. It resulted in a shocking challenge on Marsh that sent the AFC Wimbledon midfielder flying.

Neil Hair couldn’t brandish the red card quick enough as AFC Wimbledon protested the awful tackle.
