Charlie Patino is among the Arsenal youngsters who have travelled with the first team to Dubai for a mid-season training camp, understands.
The Hale Ender grabbed headlines last month by scoring just 10 minutes after coming on for his senior debut in the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Sunderland.
The 18-year-old is so highly rated that he is deemed to be the brightest talent to come out of a Gunners academy that has produced the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka in recent years, and has been training regularly with Mikel Arteta's first team this season.
And now he has been rewarded for his fine performances at London Colney with a place in Arsenal's travelling group to go to Dubai.
The Gunners flew out on Thursday morning to the UAE, with a squad including several other youngsters such as Taylor Foran and Mexican international Marcelo Flores.
After playing for Kevin Betsy's under-21 side in their Papa John's Trophy quarter-final defeat to Wigan on Tuesday, there were some concerns that Patino might not make the group to travel to Dubai.
However, he has departed with the rest of the senior side, and is set to be involved with first-team training for the rest of the season.
It's a positive end to what has been a mixed month for the Hale Ender.
