Celtic Champions League standout branded 'a waste of money' as Luis Palma discovers Olympiacos transfer fate

Auston Trusty and Adam Idah have been branded a "waste of money" after Celtic shelled out £16million for the pair.

Brendan Rodgers sanctioned a £6m deal to sign Trusty from Sheffield United last summer but the jury remains out on the defender.

The USA international impressed on the Champions League stage as Celts reached the knockouts, but has flattered to deceive domestically.

Now, Sunday Mail columnist Hugh Keevins has delivered a damning verdict on the duo by telling Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: “Management is a solitary business.
