Celebrity Big Brother 2022: Miesha Tate takes CBB crown ahead of Todrick Hall and Cynthia Bailey

Miesha Tate has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2022 after receiving all but one of the jury’s votes.

The former UFC bantamweight champion beat American YouTube star Todrick Hall in the final two after the jury made up of their former housemates including Carson Kressley and Lamar Odom voted 7-1 in her favour.

A clearly-gobsmacked Cupcake could hardly believe it as she told host Julie Chen Moonves she was almost lost for words after winning the $250,000 grand prize.

She said: “This is so surreal.

“I don’t know if I can quite put words to the feeling that I have right now.”

Tate, 35, also admits that taking part in the reality TV show was more difficult than entering the the octagon for the first time.

When asked why she felt that way, she replied: “Because it feels like it’s never ending.

“You go into a fight and you know there is a beginning and an ending but you might not know the outcome.

“But this one is full of emotional rollercoasters and just being without my family and my normal support system.”

But while she is evidently delighted to win the competition, she insists it cannot be compared to her famous win over Holly Holm.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she said: “Well, it definitely was more exciting for me winning the bantamweight title because that was like 10 years in the making, and I got surprised with this opportunity just a couple of weeks before I entered the show.

“So I didn’t put the amount of preparation into this. However, I am really proud of myself for making it through this, and I cannot believe it. Even though I envisioned winning this game, it really is a difficult task to do.
