CCTV image released of three men police want to speak to after serious sex attack in town centre

Police are searching for three men following a 'serious sexual offence' in Bolton town centre.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that a woman approached patrol officers at around 5.20am on Saturday morning (September 17) and was in distress. GMP has since released a CCTV image taken from Bradshawgate and believe that the three men pictured can help with their investigation.

Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead, of GMP Bolton’s CID, said: “We are thankful that this woman felt able to approach officers and quickly access specialist support whilst initial enquiries were completed. We are continuing to work with her and gather essential evidence.
