Cardiff v Sale Sharks live: Kick-off time and score updates on emotional night

It has been an emotional week in the Welsh capital after the death of former Cardiff chairman and life president Peter Thomas who passed away on Tuesday.

Thomas was one of the most influential figures in the history of Cardiff rugby and the Welsh club will want to honour him by overcoming a strong Sale Sharks outfit at the Arms Park in the last 16 of the Challenge Cup.

Director of Rugby Dai Young welcomes back a number of Wales internationals from Warren Gatland's Six Nations squad.

Tomos Williams, Josh Adams and Mason Grady all start in the backline, with Taulupe Faletau at number eight. A strong bench contains the likes of Dillon Lewis, Rhys Carre and Thomas Young.

Reaching the last eight of the Champions Cup will not be an easy task with Sale fielding a strong side which includes powerhouse England centre Manu Tuilagi, and outside-half George Ford.
