Cardiff Rugby press conference Live as Dai Young grilled on player pub allegations

Cardiff Rugby boss Dai Young will hold a press conference today and will answer questions on the allegations that have rocked the club in recent days.

Bosses have launched an investigation into claims players threatened staff at a city pub and threw eggs on the premises over the weekend. You can read the latest on that here, with the manager of The Grange pub saying he expected "repercussions" for those involved.

An account of the alleged incident was shared online by an apparent staff member from the pub, before being deleted. It has since been shared elsewhere online, saying: "A few of them engaged in some appalling behaviour. Two of the forwards were extremely aggressive and were threatening the barstaff (sic) with violence as they had been asked to leave... This team is meant to represent my city and its (sic) quite shameful to see them behave this way. I cannot imagine what they're like in other cities, nevermind their hometown."

Today will be the first time someone from the club has faced questions on the incident. Cardiff also have the small matter of a Welsh derby match against the Scarlets to prepare for on Saturday following a disappointing defeat to the Lions on Friday night.
