Cardiff City press conference live: Mark Hudson speaks for the first time as Bluebirds boss

Cardiff City caretaker boss Mark Hudson this afternoon speaks to the media for the first time.

Hudson has been placed in temporary charge following the dismissal of Steve Morison after defeat by Huddersfield Town before the international break.

Hudson served as Morison's assistant but has now been handed the reins and his first task will be to welcome Championship heavyweights Burnley to Cardiff City Stadium.

Hudson assumes the role with Cardiff in 18th position in the table, but only five points off the play-offs. They are not a million miles away, but goals have been at a premium and that must be addressed as a matter of urgency.

We will hear about the hectic fortnight, how the players have come back following international break and, more importantly, what the plan is going forward.
