Erol Bulut will face the media this afternoon to preview this weekend's clash against Rotherham United. The Bluebirds' fantastic run of form was interrupted last night when they fell 5-2 to Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup.

No manager will be happy to lose games but one suspects Bulut will be glad to have both eyes now fixed on the Championship campaign - at least until the FA Cup rolls around. Three league wins on the spin against Swansea City, Coventry City and Sunderland have put a spring in their step, and with the struggling Millers the next visitors to Cardiff City Stadium this Saturday, Bulut and Co will be looking up again.

City now sit seventh in the table and could be even higher if they hadn't dropped late points at Leeds United and Leicester City.
