Cardiff City new manager search Live: Updates as Jody Morris and Paul Ince among latest linked to Bluebirds job

Cardiff City favourites Mark Hudson and Sol Bamba are among the early front-runners to succeed Steve Morison in the Bluebirds hot-seat.

Hudson is set to be given time to impress in the interim following the sacking of Steve Morison, but it's understood Bamba is among those under consideration from the club should they decide to go another way.

Morison was dismissed from his role on Sunday afternoon, following the 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town on Saturday, in a move which has shocked many supporters.

Meanwhile, Paul Ince and Jody Morris have also been linked with the role, as too has boyhood City fan Nathan Jones, who remains high in the list of contenders with the bookies
