Cardiff City flop wins Turkish Super Lig and claims golden boot amid crazy scenes on streets

Former Cardiff City striker Andreas Cornelius has won the Turkish Super Lig with Trabzonspor.

The Danish striker, who signed for Cardiff City in 2014, managed to score 15 goals to help his side win the title, which enabled the forward to win the golden boot.

The 29-year-old is loved by his new supporters, who call him “The King of the North”. Their title triumph prompted wild scenes, with thousands partying on into the night on the streets of the city.
