Carabao Cup draw LIVE as Premier League sides set to discover second round opponents

Premier League sides are preparing to enter the Carabao Cup this season and the second round draw will take place tonight. Manchester City and Manchester United are not due in the competition just yet - but there is still enough local interest from further down the Football League pyramid.

First round matches will come to a conclusion on Wednesday night. The second round draw will take place right after the final whistle, with Leeds United hosting Middlesbrough at Elland Road.

Any top-flight clubs not involved in Europe this season go into the hat. Bolton Wanderers are among the teams close by to Manchester with everything crossed for a positive draw - though Class of 92 owned Salford City and Wigan Athletic were dumped out on Tuesday night.

Stockport County were also beaten as Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers hit them for six! Newcastle United, West Ham and Everton are among the big hitters set to discover their second round opponents.
